Elite Interactive Solutions (EIS) has announced that Tom Stone, Chairman of its Law Enforcement Advisory Board (LEAB), has been appointed to a public sector position.

Stone has been named Police Commissioner-at-Large to the Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department (WEGO) by the Board of Supervisors of Westtown and East Goshen Townships, US.

Promoting excellence in law enforcement

In his new role, Stone will work alongside an elected supervisor from each township, overseeing the WEGO Police Commission.

The commission is responsible for reviewing policies, procedures and directing the department, with the Chief of police reporting directly to them.

Having served on EIS’ LEAB for 12 years, Stone is a dedicated supporter of the company’s crime prevention efforts and the role of remote guarding in reducing false alarm responses.

Additionally, Stone brings a wealth of experience as the Executive Director Emeritus of FBI-LEEDA, where he played a key role in developing educational programs for law enforcement.

Through his new appointment with EIS, Stone remains committed to promoting excellence in law enforcement.

“The resources needed”

Stone expressed: “I am honoured to have been appointed to the Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Commission.

“I look forward to working with the commissioners, the Chief and the dedicated men and women of the WEGO Police Department to ensure they have the resources needed for their safety and for the citizens they serve.”

With over four decades of experience in law enforcement and public safety, including 22 years as Chief of police and/or public safety director, Stone has provided expert analysis and testimony for major law firms and municipalities on police situational issues.
