Biometrics enhance travel experiences at Abu Dhabi airport

Over one million passengers have successfully been processed through a new terminal at Zayed International Airport, Abu Dhabi, UAE thanks to innovative biometric technology from IDEMIA.

The border management solution is said to feature the world’s first multi-biometric entry/exit system.
Strengthening security whilst also enhancing passenger experiences and throughput, the success of the Abu Dhabi project has led to an extension to the country’s four other international airports.

The Single Token Journey (STJ) solution employs facial recognition technology.
