TAKEX EUROPE appoints Channel Manager for South Africa

TAKEX has named Mark Crichton as its new Channel Manager for South Africa.
Crichton, who is fluent in both Afrikaans and English, has worked in the security industry since 2000.
Knowledge and experience
TAKEX EUROPE was established in 1990 as the European subsidiary of the Takenaka Sensor Group.
Fast-forward to 2024, and the subsidiary is now a leading brand in perimeter security, offering clients more than 30 years of industry experience.
Not only has Crichton got experience with installations and the maintenance of critical sites, but he has also worked in product management fields, covering CCTV, access control and intrusion detection.
Specialising in system design, marketing and sales support, product management and customer service, he will be supporting local distributors and system integrators throughout South Africa.

“I’m excited to help develop the business through new and existing channels in the SA market, increase brand awareness and add a supplementary level of support in addition to the already great support our customers are accustomed to,” Crichton told ISJ.
