Multi-discipline distributor, Oprema has been accredited ISO 9001 certification for its Quality Management Systems (QMS) following a two-day audit.

Established by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO), the ISO 9001:2015 standard provides a framework for an organisation’s QMS built around the concept of continual improvement.

Having an effective QMS in place helps provide focus to a business and allows the organisation to identify and certify the key processes that will maintain and improve the quality of procedures. For Oprema this means delivering a higher quality of service, a strong focus on customer satisfaction and increased efficiency in resources.

Oprema can now display its commitment to customers that it is following internationally recognised standards and procedures to provide them with the highest standard of customer service.

Ross Hawkins, Operations Director at Oprema has commented on the accreditation: “We are pleased to have passed the rigorous company-wide audit and achieved ISO 9001 accreditation. This is a great achievement for us, we are continuously working to provide the best service for our customers and this accreditation reflects this. To receive the news of the accreditation now is a fantastic way to end 2019, this has not only enhanced our internal management and operational processes but will also improve our competitive standing.”
