Matt Ellard joins Okta as SVP and General Manager for EMEA

Okta has named Matt Ellard as its Senior Vice President and General Manager for the EMEA region.
Ellard – who has a deep understanding of the customer landscape in the region – brings with him over 25 years’ experience in sales and cybersecurity consulting.
As Senior Vice President and General Manager for EMEA, Ellard is expected to lead regional sales teams responsible for helping customers and partners leverage identity solutions to drive user experiences.

Prior to joining Okta, Ellard worked at EY and was responsible for its cybersecurity consulting division.
His sales and leadership experience includes roles at Tanium, Veritas, Symantec and Sun Microsystems.
