AI cameras and intercom from IDIS on show at major UK event

IDIS will showcase a range of edge AI cameras and its 2MP video intercom at The Security Event 2024.
The global solutions provider will be exhibiting on Stand 5/N80 at the major UK event, which is taking place 30 April – 2 May at the NEC Birmingham, UK.
IDIS edge AI camera range
IDIS has expanded its business over the last year, supporting integration partners in a range of projects.
The company’s plug and play, NDAA-compliant IDIS edge AI range will reduce the nuisance of false alarms and improve the responsiveness of security teams.
Equipped with the up to 98% accurate IDIS Deep Learning Engine on the edge, the new models – including 2MP, 4MP, and 5MP bullets, domes and turrets and PTZs – deliver accurate detection and auto-tracking of suspicious individuals and vehicles.
The models also feature NIR Lightmaster technology for evidential image capture in the dark, true WDR, H.265 and IDIS Intelligent Codec.
DC-I6212WRX
According to IDIS, its new 2MP outdoor ready video intercom (DC-I6212WRX) is the first NEMA 4X, IK10 and IP66 rated product of its kind offered by any surveillance vendor.
Housed in a casing with two colour options and a choice of flush and surface mount options, the DC-I6212WRX can withstand extreme temperatures and harsh environmental conditions.
The new solution provides systems integrators with an affordable yet powerful access control device and gives customers a host of performance benefits.
