IPVideo Corporation has confirmed Sohaib Shaikh as its new Director of Engineering.

Shaikh joins the physical security solutions provider during a period of major growth.

Shaikh will lead IPVideo’s firmware and hardware development teams, helping to drive technology innovation across all of its product lines.

With a diverse background in engineering, Shaikh was previously Device Engineering Manager at Airgas.

In this role, he led the company’s engineering and production teams in the development of next-generation telemetry devices.

Prior to this, he spent over twelve years at Otis Elevator Company and was also a part of GE Consumer & Industrial’s Edison Engineering Development Program.

Shaikh holds a Bachelor and Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a Master of Business Administration.

Shaikh will report to Frank Jacovino, IPVideo’s Vice President of Operations and Product Development.
