President and Executive Director of global security company honoured with award

Sir William Gallagher, President and Executive Director of the Gallagher Group, was honoured with an award at The Security Event 2023 by event organisers, Nineteen Group.

Sir William – who throughout a 60-year career in the industry has demonstrated exceptional vision, innovation and leadership – was recognised with the ‘Contribution to the Security Industry’ accolade whilst at the show.

The Security Event took place at the NEC Birmingham between 25-27 April 2023.

News of the award comes as the Gallagher Group celebrates its 85^th anniversary – commenting on both this incredible business milestone and his personal achievement, Sir William said: “What an honour to receive this award.

“Over the course of my career, I have been privileged to have been able to build upon the company that my father set up back in 1938.

“Through his invention of the electric fence, Gallagher has been able to forge a successful global company across the animal management and security industries.
