Landmark drone project completed by Dubai hospital

Fakeeh University Hospital in Dubai, UAE has grabbed headlines recently as it’s drone successfully delivered medicine to a patient’s house in Dubai Silicon Oasis.

Following a year’s worth of trials conducted at Dubai Silicon Oasis – in collaboration with the Dubai Future Foundation and the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority – the pilot project was a resounding success, demonstrating the efficiency and life saving potential of drone technology.

“Since our establishment, we have consistently embraced technological advancements to provide innovative services,” commented Dr Fatih Mehmet Gul, CEO, Fakeeh University Hospital.

“However, this initiative marks a substantial leap forward in enhancing healthcare accessibility and achieving complete digitalisation.”
