Cyberani and Thales partner to enhance Saudi Arabia’s cybersecurity

Cyberani has formed a partnership with Thales to address cybersecurity needs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, targeting both private and public sector companies.
Signed at LEAP 2024 by Saeed Al Saeed, CEO Cyberani and Pierre-Yves Jolivet, Vice President of Cyber Digital Solutions, Thales this alliance aligns with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, highlighting cybersecurity and digital infrastructure as crucial for building a diversified and sustainable economy.

The signing was attended by key figures including Ahmad O. Al-Khowaiter, Executive Vice President Technology & Innovation, Aramco and Tareq Amin, CEO, Aramco Digital and Dr. Wael Kanoun, Managing Director – Cyber Defense Solutions, Thales in KSA and Middle East and Bernard Roux, CEO, Thales in KSA.
The partnership aims to support local economic growth and bolster Saudi Arabia’s digital and industrial capabilities in line with its sovereignty objectives.
Recognising the escalating global cyber-threats and complex regulatory requirements, Cyberani and Thales are joining forces to tap into the cybersecurity market in Saudi Arabia, aiming for a combined revenue target of US $350m from 2024 to 2030.
With Thales having recently acquired Imperva and boasting over 5,800 cybersecurity experts across 68 countries, the company anticipates cybersecurity revenue of US $2.4b in 2024.
Choosing Thales as a strategic partner, Cyberani intends to leverage the technology firm’s expertise to enhance security for both Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure and operations in the Kingdom.
The Cyberani-Thales alliance will offer top tier cybersecurity solutions to organisations in Saudi Arabia, with a particular focus on critical sectors such as Energy, Utilities, Aviation, Transportation, Space, Finance and Smart Cities.
