Craig Factor joins Dedrone as Vice President, General Counsel

Dedrone has announced the appointment of Craig Factor as Vice President, General Counsel. In this role, Mr. Factor assumes overall responsibility for legal matters at Dedrone. Mr. Factor will also provide strategic counsel to Dedrone’s sales, products and business development teams. Dedrone technology is trusted by hundreds of customers to protect critical infrastructure, military installations, correctional facilities, airports and other enterprises against malicious or uncooperative drones.
“We are expecting significant growth in our business globally and I see Craig as a critical partner in enabling us to scale our operations,” said Aaditya (AD) Devarakonda, President and Chief Business Officer of Dedrone. “Craig’s deep understanding of structuring and growing the legal function at high-growth companies and ability to navigate complex legal issues will make him an asset for Dedrone and our partners. We’re delighted he’s joined the team.”
Mr. Factor comes with over 20 years of General Counsel experience at numerous public and VC-backed private companies, including Audience (acquired by Knowles Corporation), Artisan Components (acquired by ARM Holdings), RITA Medical Systems (acquired by AngioDynamics) and Immersion Corporation, which he assisted in taking public.

Earlier in his career, he was an attorney at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati and Wiley, Rein & Fielding. Mr. Factor holds a J.D. from the Duke University School of Law and an A.B. from Harvard University. He is a member of the State Bars of California and New York.
