Calipsa, a provider of cloud-based CCTV false alarm filtering software, is preparing to bring together over 75 industry professionals on 14 November to discuss the evolution of the security industry. As the first event of its kind, the masterclass is set to discuss the trends and technology that are shaping the future of the industry.

With a focus on video monitoring, the upcoming event has been inspired by developments in the UK security industry including the rise of video analytics and growth of artificial intelligence. Furthermore, as advances in technology continue to pave the way for better crime detection and prevention, the masterclass plans to bring together key industry players to identify how this will influence the security landscape. Not only has the event attracted the attention of some of the UK’s biggest security companies, it will also welcome visitors from the United States, Canada and Europe.

As a security solutions provider that uses deep learning technology to significantly reduce CCTV false alarms, Calipsa is well placed to provide unique insights into how emerging technology can support security professionals. Alongside these insights, the masterclass boasts guest speakers; Michael Askew, Managing Director of Monitor Computer Systems and Chris Carter Brennan, CEO of CONXTD Technologies who will share their knowledge.

Roundtable sessions will conclude the half-day event and will provide an opportunity for delegates to ask questions, share knowledge and engage in peer discussion on topics such as understanding artificial intelligence, using technology to improve employee wellbeing and morale and innovative growth strategies.

“There has never been a more exciting time to enhance the way we protect people and property. By hosting the masterclass, Calipsa is hoping to provide a new platform for video monitoring professionals to learn about the technologies that will shape their future,” comments Rashid Khan, CEO of Calipsa.

“At a time when demand for CCTV monitoring is growing, the potential for businesses to capitalise is huge. The masterclass is designed to be an unparalleled opportunity for learning, collaboration and innovation.”

The Calipsa Masterclass is free to attend and will take place on 14 November at Silicon Valley Bank in London. To book one of the remaining places visit https://hubs.ly/H0lwJTW0
