SONITROL has reached a significant milestone, celebrating 60 years in business.
In recognition of this achievement, the company plans to honour its six decades of accomplishments in the coming months.

As part of its commemoration, the company has joined the Partner Alliance for Safer Schools (PASS), aiming to collaborate with the education community to enhance school security and foster safer learning environments.
Julie Beach, Vice President, SONITROL commented: ‘Like many successful businesses, SONITROL was the result of a great idea that solved a problem.
“Not only did Baxter and Cronk pioneer impact activated audio sensor technology, but they took it to market via a franchise and distribution network. In 1968 SONITROL sold its first franchise in Detroit, Michigan and its first project was to provide a school security system.”
As a Tier 4 PASS Partner, SONITROL aligns with other organisations committed to supporting PASS’s mission of enhancing safety for students, educators and staff.
The partnership grants the company access to PASS branding, resources, five days of onsite training and all PASS webinars for its employees.

The company has prepared to celebrate its 60th anniversary at the annual SONITROL National Dealers Association (SNDA) Convention, held in Kentucky, US from 14 – 17 March.
