Goldman Sachs Group, an American multinational investment bank and financial services company headquartered in New York City, has recently installed security gates provided by PERCo at its office in India.
This office, located in Bengaluru, India serves as the company’s third-largest globally.
In 2014, Goldman Sachs invested approximately US $250m in the construction and completion of a complex for its employees, which was officially inaugurated in May 2019 in Bengaluru.
The complex includes childcare facilities, health and fitness amenities, indoor recreation and innovation rooms, contemplation areas and event spaces.
PERCo’s solution
To enhance security, the building entrances and floor access points are equipped with PERCo‘s 37 ST-01 Speed Gates.
Among these, 16 gates feature extra-wide swing panels designed to accommodate individuals with reduced mobility comfortably.
Additionally, stands for 3D scanners have been installed to facilitate biometric fingerprint access.
The turnstile sections, constructed of glass and stainless steel, are designed to streamline checkpoint operations while providing enhanced security.
The speed gates offer touch-free access control, with a high throughput of over 60 people per minute.
Moreover, the company‘s gates can be customised with swing panels of varying height and width to prevent unauthorised access and facilitate emergency exits and passage for individuals with reduced mobility.
The swing panels open automatically upon passage, further enhancing convenience and safety.
