OPTEX strengthens presence in UK and Ireland with new appointment

OPTEX, a prominent global sensor manufacturer, has appointed Lawrence Peters as Head of Sales in the UK and Ireland, aiming to enhance and expand its capabilities in the region.
In his new role, Peters will lead and implement OPTEX’s domestic sales and growth strategy, focusing on acquiring new customers in key vertical markets, including retail, logistics, data centres, critical infrastructure and residential sectors.
Long term relationships
Additionally, Peters will nurture long-term relationships with installers, system integrators and distributor partners, ensuring OPTEX maintains its commitment to delivering high-level technical service and customer support.
He brings nearly 20 years of experience in the security industry, with over a decade in leadership roles.
His previous role was Sales Director – UK and Ireland for a leading provider of temporary site security, demonstrating a proven track record in developing and delivering long term projects.
