MARSS Group has announced it has enhanced its CUAS solution, now including a kinetic denial function, able to detect, jam and if necessary, destroy life-threatening unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in seconds. It will be demonstrating this world’s first turnkey solution with effectors throughout October.

The solution, based on MARSS’ significant experience in the sector, is in response to growing threats of hostile drones and unmanned aerial systems (UAS), with the MARSS Group able to offer unrivalled detection and defence from micro-size to larger tactical drones. The latest development of the NiDAR C2 system fuses the very best in CUAS technology to protect people and assets with proprietary Artificial Intelligence and state of the art countermeasures.

With a multi-layered approach, the NiDAR system is capable of detecting tactical UAS from distances of over 15km, combining radar, radio frequency (RF) detection and EO cameras to identify threats and trigger responses while also learning from events and actions thanks to its powerful AI integration.

Intuitive MARSS system

MARSS has worked alongside industry leaders in countermeasure design, to introduce multiple levels of kinetic denial into an intuitive C2 system that saves lives. From standard targeted radio frequency and GPS jamming, to the latest in long range effectors rendering incapable the threat, NiDAR disrupts UAS operations and eliminates verified threats in seconds, protecting lives and property.

Johannes Pinl, Founder and CEO comments: “We can’t underestimate airborne threats. Not from hobbyist drones but from sophisticated UAVs that put real lives at risk. It’s the reason NiDAR CUAS is being deployed in the most hostile locations and why government, military and heads of state put trust in our technology.”
