New IDIS Edge AI camera range unveiled

South Korean video technology manufacturer, IDIS, has expanded its portfolio of Edge AI cameras.
The new IDIS Edge AI camera range reduces false alarms and improves the responsiveness and operational efficiency of security teams with faster forensic search and investigation.

According to IDIS, the new solutions will make it significantly easier for a range of customers to benefit from deep learning video analytics across commercial premises, public spaces and perimeters.
The solutions utilise metadata to distinguish between humans, vehicles and other objects.
Plug-and-play and NDAA compliant, the cameras are equipped with the IDIS Deep Learning Engine on the edge, which is said to be up to 98% accurate.
This helps to deliver accurate and dependable detection and auto-tracking.

Twelve new models are being launched across North America, including 2MP and 5MP bullets, domes and turrets.
Moreover, there are models featuring NIR Lightmaster technology for evidential image capture in the dark, true WDR, H.265 and IDIS Intelligent Codec.
