i-PRO names Chief Product Officer

i-PRO (formerly Panasonic Security), a global leader in professional security solutions for surveillance and public safety, has announced that it has appointed Gerard Figols as the company’s Chief Product Officer (CPO).

With a career spanning over 17 years in the physical security industry, Figols brings a wealth of global experience and strategic vision to his new role.

In his most recent position as President of i-PRO EMEA and i-PRO APAC, Figols is said to have demonstrated exceptional leadership in driving the company’s growth and success in these markets.

Leveraging his extensive experience in engineering, marketing, and sales, Figols has been instrumental in shaping i-PRO’s presence in the security industry.

i-PRO set for further growth

As Chief Product Officer, Figols will be tasked with spearheading i-PRO’s global product strategy. “Gerard’s appointment as CPO underscores our mission to establish i-PRO as a truly global organisation. Building on his years of experience working across cultures, Gerard will be able to leverage insights from different business regions to develop best-in-class products suited to the needs of different industries and markets,” said Masato Nakao, CEO at i-PRO.

Jose Riolobos named President of i-PRO EMEA

In a related announcement, i-PRO has appointed Jose Riolobos as Figols’ successor to the role of President of i-PRO EMEA. For several years, Riolobos held senior positions within i-PRO and previously, Panasonic in Europe and Japan.

“I am honoured to lead i-PRO EMEA’s operations and build upon the foundation of success established by Gerard,” commented Riolobos. “I look forward to continuing to drive growth and delivering value to our partners and customers across the region.”
