Genetec has been acknowledged as one of Canada’s Top Employers for Young People by MediaCorp Canada.
Organised by the Canada’s Top 100 Employers project, this designation centres around workplaces and programs crafted for young professionals entering into their careers.

The evaluation criteria by MediaCorp covers the ability to attract and retain young talent, mentorship and training initiatives, growth opportunities and the overall percentage of young professionals within the organisation.
Genetec attained its Top Employer status through various employee-focused initiatives, cultivating a work environment that values creativity, innovation and teamwork.
The company provides offerings such as flexible work hours, wellness programs, subsidised meals, an on-site kinesiologist and a fitness centre, emphasising the development of its young team members through extensive training and continuing education opportunities.
This includes an apprenticeship program tailored to empower candidates without specific qualifications through on-the-job experience and skill development.
The company also maintains an internship program, offering over 400 positions annually in software engineering, sales and marketing, with numerous interns transitioning into full-time employment opportunities.
