A global security company has confirmed that it received funding from an industry training board to enhance state-wide channel partner support in Australia.

Keystone Tasmania has strengthened its support for Gallagher by improving training course accessibility and affordability, reflecting the board’s goal of promoting training and training pathways in the building and construction industry.

Gallagher’s local Channel Partners can benefit from the funding, with a special subsidy reducing the cost of the highly sought-after Access and Perimeter courses offered by Gallagher.

“I loved the idea”

Contact Group, a trusted Channel Partner of Gallagher, took the lead in promoting the initiative.

The company was aware of Keystone’s funding platform and shared the idea with Danielle Mitchell, Training Manager for APAC and IMEA, Gallagher: “I loved the idea, as it provides another method for us to help our partners maintain skill levels and increase the accessibility of Gallagher training.

“We are so pleased to add this string to the bow of our training support, which includes the recently launched Virtual Classroom Training and Train the Trainer initiatives.”

Dr Karin Mathison, Chief Executive Officer, Keystone Tasmania added: “Keystone’s obligation is to support people to pursue career opportunities by funding high quality training and professional development programs.

“Gallagher’s training courses provide a level of industry accreditation that will help build a highly skilled, innovative, safe and healthy building and construction workforce.”
