Cryptomathic has confirmed the appointment of Anna Russell as its Chief Revenue Officer (CRO).

The global software company is trusted by leading organisations in financial services, banking, semiconductors, manufacturing, energy and government.

Russell joins Cryptomathic

According to Cryptomathic, Russell has years of experience in the data security and privacy industry.

Having previously served as Worldwide Vice President for Sales and Strategy for Voltage Data Privacy and Protection, a security business unit within Micro Focus (now OpenText), she will now oversee every aspect of revenue, including sales, marketing, business development, customer success and professional services.

“Cryptomathic’s heritage is second-to-none,” commented Russell.

“For decades, the company’s creative minds have driven innovation and delivered cutting-edge solutions that set the industry standard for cryptographic excellence.”

“The opportunity to work with globally recognised cryptography pioneers is truly exciting,” she added.

“Protecting our digital world”

Reporting to company CEO, Laurent Lafargue, Russell not only joins Cryptomathic as CRO, but also joins its Strategic Global Management team to support the company’s international growth.

“The task of protecting our digital world, delivering trust and keeping pace with compliance requirements is putting governments, banks and businesses under huge pressure,” she added.

“Cryptomathic provides the critical security enabling this trust, by crafting futureproofed technologies that deliver the highest levels of assurance and protect the most sensitive data from unauthorised access.”
