Adistec, a value-added distributor focused on infrastructure for Data Centres and Information Security, is ExaGrid’s new distributor in Brazil. Based in Marlborough, MA (USA), ExaGrid is a tiered backup storage industry vendor that supports more than 3,000 organisations in nearly 50 countries.

“In an increasingly data-driven landscape, organisations need to rely on the right partner to mitigate new vectors of cyber-attacks and protect their business. We are excited to work with ExaGrid, as we not only have the opportunity to offer a more complete portfolio to our channels, but also to insert them into new technologies, trends and innovations that permeate the global security market,” commented José Roberto Rodrigues, Country Manager at Adistec Brazil and Alliance Manager LATAM.

The partnership between the companies focuses on the distribution of ExaGrid’s tiered storage backup solution, which stands out for having a unique Disk Cache Landing Zone, long-term retention repository and horizontal scalability architecture.

“With this, Adistec’s channel ecosystem will be able to offer a secure solution that improves backup performance, while ensuring that data is recovered after a natural disaster or ransomware attack, regardless of the backup software used by the customer,” said Paulo Vendramini, Vice President of LATAM Sales at ExaGrid.

According to Vendramini, the joint action with Adistec will open new opportunities for the company to expand its presence in Brazil and Latin America between 2022 and 2023.

“Adistec is a distributor that has a solid credibility and experience with other state-of-the-art solutions in the industry, which will complement our portfolio and increase our offerings. It is a company that has highly qualified processes, infrastructure and technical and commercial teams, which will add value to the distribution of ExaGrid technology throughout the country”, concluded the executive.
