Qatar and US sign aviation security agreement

Qatar and the US have signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The MoU is said to be aimed at strengthening civil aviation security between the two countries.
According to Gulf News, the signing ceremony was overseen by Minister of Transport, Jassim Bin Saif Al Sulaiti, with Mohammed Faleh Al Hajri, Qatar Civil Aviation Authority and Timmy Davis, US Ambassador to Qatar, as signatories.
Al Sulaiti and Davis are said to have also discussed bilateral relations between the two countries.
These discussions reportedly focused on transportation and civil aviation and exploring opportunities for further enhancement and development.
