Integrated security manufacturer TDSi has announced it has been shortlisted in the Security and Fire Excellence Awards 2021 for ‘Security Software Manufacturer of the Year’. TDSi’s entry is centred around its powerful GARDiS access control software, which is designed to not only service the needs of customers today, but also to continue seamlessly evolving and meeting the changing security and commercial needs of an uncertain world.

With winners chosen by a panel of leading industry experts, the awards feature strict entry criteria, including evidence of standout products and developments launched since July 2020. John Davies, Managing Director of TDSi comments: “We are delighted to be shortlisted in this year’s Security and Fire Excellence Awards, which annually recognise key contributions to the development and evolution of the industry. Our entry is based around the powerful GARDiS software which is designed to shake up and revitalise the access control space by offering the perfect solution for today’s needs.”

John adds: “Our GARDiS software represents a significant step change in access control management, a solution that not only integrates directly with our GARDiS hardware range, but also a wide variety of third-party security and wider business systems. It is based around a highly agile cloud-hosted architecture, enabling it to be quickly and easily installed and managed on virtually any web-enabled device, without sacrificing the highest levels of protection from hackers.”

GARDiS software users have enjoyed a number of recent upgrades and developments which have included Fire Door release and Site Lock Down functions, along with integration with ASSA ABLOY Aperio and SimonsVoss SmartIntego wireless locks. Earlier this year, integration options for Lift Control, Area Occupancy and ANPR were added along with HikVision integration. Recently these features have been joined by integration with Thinking Software’s RotaOne Time & Attendance platform and a raft of further additions in the newest version 2.2 which will be announced shortly.

The GARDiS software is designed to be a strong link in the security of the networks it is connected to. By using the highest levels of authentication and encryption, security operators can be confident that GARDiS provides the powerful flexibility of a fully connected IP-enabled system, whilst ensuring data is fully protected, even when it is shared with other parts of the network over an online connection.

The results of the Security and Fire Excellence Awards 2021 will be announced on Tuesday 23 November at a gala event at the London Hilton on Park Lane. A full list of the finalists can be found here: www.securityandfireawards.com/finalists-2021.
