Synectics wins contract with major bus and coach operator

Synectics has confirmed that Ocular Integration has been awarded a contract worth approximately £1.1m with Stagecoach – which is said to be the UK’s largest bus and coach operator.

Synectics’ On-Board Hub

The new deal will see Stagecoach pilot Ocular’s new On-Board Hub solution.

According to Synectics, the single-platform solution is designed to enhance fleet efficiency while improving operator oversight and the passenger experience.

The pilot is expected to be completed within twelve months, with the expectation that it is deployed more widely upon successful completion.

The On-Board Hub has been developed in collaboration with Navaho Technologies Limited and leverages Synectics’ cloud services and software.
