Suprema – a global access control and biometrics company – is expanding its presence in North America with a host of new partners that include leading wholesale distributors such as ADI, Anixter, Wesco, as well as integration partners.

The growing demand for Suprema touchless biometrics solutions is being driven by scores of organisations, companies and government entities looking to get back to work during the COVID-19 pandemic while protecting the health of people entering their facilities.

The demand for Suprema’s touchless biometrics

“The demand for touchless biometrics for access control and workforce management applications has risen dramatically in recent months as a result of the pandemic and the need to limit myriad health risks and liabilities related to COVID19,” remarked Bob Carrino, Sales Director at Suprema America.

“This has changed the landscape for access control and workforce management moving forward, as COVID-19 has been a wake-up call that infectious germs and viruses can strike from anywhere at any time, necessitating the need to implement new preventive measures.”

The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated Suprema’s expansion in the Americas with the addition of several new distribution, reseller and integration partners.
