Squire Vulcan introduced to North American locksmith market

Squire Locks USA has confirmed the introduction of its Vulcan resettable combination locks to the North American locksmith and security hardware market.

The solutions provide locksmiths with a new opportunity to serve customers across energy, utilities, transportation and other critical infrastructure, where locks must stand up to daily handling and harsh conditions.

Vulcan resettable combination locks

According to the company, the Vulcan range fills an important gap in the padlock market.

Many customers appreciate the convenience of a resettable combination lock – but have traditionally had to rely on lightweight products designed primarily for consumer and general retail applications.

Vulcan is said to offer a more substantial, professional-grade alternative for applications where durability, weather resistance and dependable daily operation matter.

The Vulcan range is sold exclusively through professional security hardware distributors, giving locksmiths access to a differentiated product they can specify and sell without competing directly against retail shelves or online commodity pricing.

“A much stronger option”

“Locksmiths regularly encounter customers who want to eliminate keys but are dissatisfied with the construction and service life of ordinary, retail-grade resettable locks,” said Jerry Burhans, North American Commercial Leader, Squire.

“Vulcan gives them a much stronger option they can confidently recommend for these infrastructure-related applications.”
