Southwest Microwave adds to UK and Ireland team

Southwest Microwave, Inc., a global provider of high-performance outdoor perimeter security technologies, has announced that Johan Van Der Sterren has been appointed as Business Development Manager, supporting clients with perimeter protection needs throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland.
“Johan’s customer-focused mindset adds further depth to our resource team and enhances our ability to deliver integrated intrusion detection solutions to our customer base,” said Martin Lomberg, Southwest Microwave’s General Manager, EMEAI Region.
“I look forward to showcasing Southwest Microwave’s field-proven sensor technologies, along with the robust design, training, warranty and technical support services we offer, to effectively protect critical infrastructure and assets,” said Johan.
In this role, Johan will be based out of Southwest Microwave Ltd.’s Worcestershire, UK office, working with integrators, consultants and end users across all industries.
Johan has over 25 years’ experience in sales and marketing roles in companies ranging from start-up to blue-chip within the security, finance, high-tech and industrial sectors. He has an undergraduate degree in modern European studies, postgraduate degree in social science research methods and MBA from Henley Management College.
