Smart access secures UK university accommodation

Smart access solutions from SALTO have been installed to enhance security for student accommodation sites at the University of Lincoln, UK.

In doing so, the university has further demonstrated its commitment to ensuring that students likely living away from home for the first time have a safe and enjoyable experience.

Installed by Aspex, SALTO’s smart access solutions are now providing flexible security and building management for St Mark’s Accommodation, Viking House and Cygnet Wharf.

According to the companies, the new system is installed with all doors secured by a mix of SALTO XS4 original and XS4 One handle sets, Neo electronic cylinders and wall readers.

This solution has been paired with audio intercoms, DDA record automatic doors and an external car-parking gate across the university’s accommodation sites.
