SilverNet wireless networking equipment available via the TTAS Framework and Civica

SilverNet wireless networking equipment is now available via the Transport Technology & Associated Services (TTAS) government framework, through their trusted partner Civica. Through this framework SilverNet is able to provide their high quality wireless and CCTV equipment to the public sector more efficiently.

The TTAS framework was introduced by the UK government in October 2021 and it provides central government, UK wider public sector and UK Public sector Arm’s length bodies with transport related technology. The scope of this new agreement includes transport engineering and design services, cameras including Automated Number Plate Recognition (ANPR), CCTV and speed, sustainable transport technologies (such as Clean Air Zone and Carbon Net Zero initiatives, environmental monitoring equipment and electric vehicle charging solutions) and more.

The TTAS framework has a number of benefits, including:

• Offers great value to the public sector through strengthening natural competition and value for money.
• Access to UK manufactured wireless equipment.
• Access to leading ANPR expertise from Civica.
• Standardised call-off contracts for customers to use.
• Larger set of transport technology products and services compared to earlier iterations.
• Hosts a range of suppliers who are familiar with and are up to date with governments Carbon Net Zero (CNZ) and Clean Air Zones (CAZ) requirements.

Working closely with Civica to make SilverNet equipment available via the framework will help save public sector customers time. There is no longer a need to go to tender; customers can purchase SilverNet equipment through TTAS via Civica and save time on the often lengthy tender process.

Civica will be supplying SilverNet equipment through the following TTAS lots:

• Lot 2: Transport And Pedestrian Control.
• Lot 5: Sustainable Transport Technologies.
• Lot 7: Catalogue.
