Sigur and Suprema confirm access control integration

Sigur and Suprema confirm access control integration

Sigur and Suprema have introduced an integration enabling access control management in combination with biometric terminals.

This solution is said to be especially relevant for companies with increased security requirements, where modern methods of multi-factor authentication are essential.

The integration requires a base module and a licence for each biometric device connected to the Sigur access control system.

Initial setup is performed through Suprema BioStar 2 software, after which biometric template management can be carried out directly in Sigur software.

With certain Suprema terminal models, additional access logic becomes available, allowing users to implement more advanced authentication scenarios.

“Building on years of development experience and technical expertise, we offer a wide range of biometric identification solutions to meet the needs of virtually any client – from traditional fingerprint readers to advanced facial recognition terminals,” said Artem Arifov, Regional Sales Manager Middle East, Turkey, Africa and CIS.

“We are pleased that these technologies are now fully available to Sigur users.”

“New horizons of security and convenience”

“The integration of Sigur and Suprema technologies opens new horizons of security and convenience for customers worldwide,” added Denis Silin, Head of International Technical Department, Sigur.

“Access control becomes faster, more accurate and more reliable – our joint technologies deliver maximum protection for facilities of any scale.”

To protect against spoofing, Suprema uses AI-based technologies.

When reading a fingerprint, the system continuously analyses dynamic patterns during scanning to effectively distinguish a real finger from a fake.
