The Security Industry Association (SIA) has announced the schedule, speaker line-up and program for Securing New Ground (SNG), the security industry’s executive conference.

The conference is set to take place 8 – 9 October 2024 at ‘The Westin New York Grand Central’ in New York City.

SNG 2024 will be an event for professionals to network, share and gather information and for business analysis.

What to expect at SNG 2024

This year’s conference will showcase and shape industry trends and offer opportunities to engage with important business leaders within the industry.

The 2024 program is set to explore the current and cutting-edge issues that the industry is facing, including how digital transformation will reinvent corporate security operations and the future of mobile credentials.

Professionals will be able to share investment insights for the security industry, showcase in-depth one-to-one interviews with top executives in the industry and build new connections through interactive sessions and dynamic roundtable discussions.

Guest speakers for SNG 2024

Phil Mackintosh, Chief Economist and Senior Vice President, Nasdaq will present how market conditions and financial indicators will impact the US and global economies.

Returning favourites to the conference

SIA has also announced that the conference program will see the return of the popular “View From the Top”.

The session will include talks of major trends and challenges in global security, featuring top executives from integration, product manufacturers and the practitioner voice.

There will also be a security megatrends session that will explore the the leading changes that are expected to change the industry over the next one to five years.

To highlight the recognition of the young leaders within the security industry, the conference will present the 25 of the RISE Awards.

The young leaders can be nominated as rising stars within the industry by their peers and co-workers.
