Critical communications provider Sepura has recently confirmed the release of its hand-portable TETRA radio, the SC23.

Featuring a reduced keypad and a streamlined feature set of core TETRA functionality, the company’s innovative new product will be officially unveiled at Critical Communications World in Helsinki, Finland.

According to the company, this product will complement the existing SC Series of TETRA radios.

“Sepura is continuing to invest in its TETRA portfolio”

Not only does the SC23 feature safety features such as enhanced fidelity audio and emergency buttons, Sepura’s new solution has a reduced keypad, monochrome screen and does not include Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, operating on the same frequency bands as the SC20, including VHF.

Anthony Sutton, Worldwide Sales Director, Sepura added: “Sepura is continuing to invest in its TETRA portfolio, to support of users in critical fields such as mining, transport and utilities.

“The new SC23 is a key addition for these users, which can seamlessly be added to a Sepura fleet to provide core critical communications.”
