The push for smart cities from Thailand’s rising modernisation standards is transforming the country into the digital hub of ASEAN and driving demand for security, fire safety and IoT solutions.

To capitalise on the country’s development, Secutech Thailand is returning 5–7 November 2025 to
connect industry professionals with the latest technologies accelerating urban development.

This year, the fair will relocate to the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC), operated by NCC Management and Development, which has recently joined as an official show organiser.

This partnership will facilitate key cross-sector applications alongside the concurrent Fire and Safety Thailand event and the co-located Thailand Smart City Expo and EdTeX.

With the relocation to QSNCC, Secutech Thailand will be held in conjunction with the Thailand Smart City Expo and EdTex – both organised by NCC Management and Development.

“Vast industry network”

“This move will significantly enhance visitor traffic between events, providing attendees with greater opportunities to explore advanced security solutions tailored to their specific sectors,” announced Ms Regina Tsai, General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd – Taiwan Branch.

“NCC brings extensive expertise in organising large scale events focused on technology, security and smart cities.

“By joining forces with Messe Frankfurt’s vast industry network and strong global presence through its series of security trade fairs and events, we aim to help industry professionals foster innovation and create new opportunities.”

Ms Tsai continued: “This collaboration not only strengthens access to valuable industry resources but also further integrates the fair into the wider smart city ecosystem.

“It enhances opportunities across vertical sectors such as smart retail, industry, living and healthcare, where security solutions and IoT technology play a critical role.”

The co-located Thailand Smart City Expo is the country’s largest and only trade fair dedicated to smart city technology, offering innovators a platform to present their solutions while connecting with key buyers and decision-makers from Thailand and the ASEAN region.

This show enables Secutech Thailand exhibitors to engage a wider audience, attracting stakeholders from government agencies, municipalities and various businesses involved in smart city initiatives.

Moreover, it provides valuable sourcing opportunities for Secutech Thailand visitors across the following vertical sectors: Smart Telecom, Smart Energy, Smart Living, Smart Industry and Retail, Smart Mobility, Smart Environment and Smart Healthcare.

Complementing this, the co-located EdTeX, an education technology trade fair featuring AI advancements and smart learning products, further enhances the opportunities within the broader smart city ecosystem.

Overall, the synergy from the three fairs is set to unlock new business opportunities and foster cutting-edge technology integration.

Growth and further development

With digital economy key to expanding industry engagement, Thailand has designated 36 cities across 25 provinces as smart cities and is actively working towards its ambitious goal of establishing 105 smart cities in large municipal areas by 2027.

To support the growth, the Thai government plans to invest over US $26.7b in public projects related to infrastructure, digital transformation, and green energy, part of the “Thailand 4.0” strategy and EEC development.

This substantial investment creates significant opportunities for industry players and Secutech Thailand is a key platform for them to make relevant business connections.

Secutech Thailand 2025 is set to present a wealth of opportunities for industry players to showcase their offerings within the 11,600 sqm venue.

As Thailand’s market rapidly evolves, the show will shine brightly on technological advancement driven by extensive infrastructure development and smart city initiatives.

The product categories at the show span AI-driven video surveillance equipment, biometric identification systems, smart sensors and alarms and access control gates.

Returning to the fair are popular Safety & Rescue Zone, Biometric and Access Control Solution Zone, Platform & Software Zone and Smart Fire Solution Zone, complemented by a fringe program of themed conferences, technology demonstrations and workshops that equip businesses with the latest industry insights and innovations.

Linking security and fire solutions, the concurrent Fire & Safety Thailand offers a unique platform for industry professionals to engage in new business opportunities and collaborations.
