Tony Byerly – Global President and CEO
Why were the UK and Ireland a priority for SecureStat HQ in your roll out?
Firstly, the UK and Ireland were clear priorities for the SecureStat HQ rollout because these markets are navigating some of the most complex and fastest evolving security technology landscapes in Europe.
Our clients, from retail and logistics to healthcare and critical infrastructure, manage high operational demands across multi‑site estates and require smarter, more connected ways to manage risk.
In both countries, we’ve seen strong momentum toward digital transformation in security technology and a growing need for unified platforms that simplify decision‑making, strengthen compliance and enhance real‑time visibility across locations.
SecureStat HQ was built to meet exactly those needs and the UK and Ireland were ready for this next step.
Secondly, both markets have also shown a strong appetite for cloud‑driven innovation, which makes them ideal environments as we continue expanding the SecureStat ecosystem with even more forward‑leaning capabilities.
We will have a big announcement on this coming in March 2026.
Finally, it is worth noting that we see very strong demand across all of our markets for a platform like SecureStat HQ that consolidates and simplifies security management, whilst pairing it with operational intelligence and seamless access to services.
We are planning to launch SecureStat HQ in several European countries over the course of the year.
In your quote, you said this is ‘major step forward.’ How will the roll out of SecureStat HQ in the UK and Ireland change things for organisations?
This launch is certainly a ‘major step forward’ for our clients in the UK and Ireland as it fundamentally elevates how organisations can run their security operations.
SecureStat HQ brings together critical data, systems and services into a single, intuitive platform which gives leaders real time awareness, faster response to threats and significantly reduced operational complexity.
Instead of managing multiple disconnected tools, clients gain one intelligent command centre that helps them monitor sites, streamline reporting, access key data and strengthen compliance.
This rollout gives UK and Irish organisations the enterprise visibility combined with detailed control at each and every site they’ve been asking for.
It is also the path for our clients to take advantage of Securitas Technology’s ongoing innovation in digital tools – especially Generative AI – that we will be bringing to market in 2026, including advanced video intelligence.
All these initiative centre on the SecureStat HQ platform.
Adam Norris – General Manager (UK)
What challenges are the UK and Ireland currently facing that makes SecureStat HQ relevant and useful?
As our 2026 Technology Outlook Report shows, organisations worldwide – including in the UK and Ireland – are facing an ever-growing onslaught of threats and risks, fuelled by increased global volatility and unpredictable local and business environment conditions.
Accordingly, across the market, there is a shift towards real-time, proactive security using AI-driven analytics for faster accurate responses.
Our SecureStat HQ digital security management platform gives clients the power to anticipate and manage critical events immediately across multiple locations through a “single pane of glass” with the intel to identify trends across sites that drive meaningful actions to mitigate any risks.
How will SecureStat HQ have positive impacts on clients that are managing multiple sites?
SecureStat HQ is a proven tool to simplify security management and create business value through data analysis.
Securely gathering data from multiple sources and locations, it gives those responsible for multi-site security:
- Centralised visibility of security operations
- Efficient management of sites where anomalies and exceptions are highlighted
- Systems and users’ permissions maintained consistently
- Intelligent data insights that work to optimise security and business performance
Built with adaptability in mind, it can scale as needed with business growth, helping companies to connect and standardise their security processes, whatever their size.
Joseph Pereira – Vice President of Information Technology
What technological factors did you have to consider when bringing SecureStat HQ over to the UK and Ireland?
When expanding SecureStat HQ into the UK and Ireland, our primary focus was ensuring the platform met regional regulatory, operational and infrastructure requirements without compromising the global consistency of this important platform.
From a technology perspective, this meant designing SecureStat HQ as a web and mobile-based, scalable platform capable of operating within European corporate environments while supporting local data handling, security standards and authentication models.
We also placed strong emphasis on resilience, availability and performance, recognising that customers in the UK and Ireland often manage large, distributed estates where uptime and real‑time visibility are critical.
Another key factor was integration readiness.
Many organisations in the region operate a mix of legacy and modern security systems, so SecureStat HQ was built with open APIs and modular architecture to integrate smoothly with existing alarm, video, access control and service platforms.
Finally, usability and accessibility were essential—ensuring the platform supports web and mobile use, role‑based access and consistent user experience across regions as part of our broader European and global rollout.
What value do analytics and open integration bring to organisations using SecureStat HQ in the UK and Ireland?
Analytics and open integration are at the heart of the value SecureStat HQ delivers to organisations across the UK and Ireland.
Through advanced analytics and real‑time dashboards, customers gain a single, consolidated view of their security operations – spanning monitoring, incidents, service activity and system health.
This allows security and facilities leaders to move beyond reactive response and instead make data‑driven decisions that improve risk management, operational efficiency and compliance.
For multi‑site organisations in sectors such as retail, logistics, healthcare and critical infrastructure, this level of insight is particularly powerful.
Equally important is SecureStat HQ’s open integration framework.
By integrating with existing security technologies and enterprise systems, organisations avoid data silos and reduce complexity.
This means customers can adopt SecureStat HQ without needing to rip and replace current investments, while still benefiting from a unified operating picture.
The combination of analytics and open integration helps organisations standardise processes, identify trends and continuously optimise their security posture across the UK and Ireland.
Finally, I wanted to ask you all about why now was the right time to launch SecureStat HQ in the global rollout and what makes the UK and Ireland a good fit for the platform?
Tony Byerly
Now is the right moment to bring SecureStat HQ to the UK and Ireland because organisations across these markets are facing evolving technology trends and different risk environments.
There is an urgent need for smarter, more connected security operations.
We’re seeing increased demand for real‑time visibility, streamlined reporting and platforms that centralise security management across a diverse landscape.
SecureStat HQ was built precisely for this moment. It brings actionable intelligence, stronger operational control and a unified view of security to clients who need it most.
The UK and Ireland are a natural fit for this rollout. These markets are digitally mature, operationally complex and home to clients who are ready to adopt future‑ready technologies that meaningfully improve how they manage security every day.
Launching SecureStat HQ here represents a major step forward in our mission to help make the world a safer place and it lays the foundation for the next wave of innovation we’ll deliver across our SecureStat ecosystem.
Adam Norris
From conversations with our clients who have provided great feedback and an informed understanding of the UK and Ireland markets, we know organisations here want and need smart, reliable tools to help them take the complexity out of protecting their people, buildings and assets.
Our own business readiness in the UK and Ireland, to smoothly deliver this rollout and ensure the platform operates seamlessly, has also naturally influenced the timing.
This launch is the culmination of many months’ planning, testing and organisation to get SecureStat HQ ready for today.
Joseph Pereira
The timing of SecureStat HQ’s global rollout reflects a broader shift in how organisations think about security management.
Customers are increasingly looking for centralised platforms that deliver visibility, intelligence and control across complex environments, rather than standalone systems or fragmented tools.
SecureStat HQ represents a natural evolution of that demand – bringing together monitoring, service, analytics and integrations into a single, scalable platform.
The UK and Ireland are a particularly strong fit for SecureStat HQ.
Organisations in these markets often operate highly regulated, multi‑site environments and place strong emphasis on governance, resilience and performance measurement.
There is also a clear appetite for digital transformation within security and facilities functions, with customers seeking smarter ways to manage risk, demonstrate compliance and extract more value from their security investments.
From our perspective, the UK and Ireland also benefit from mature security operations and close collaboration between customers, technology teams and service organisations.
That makes them ideal markets to both adopt and shape a platform like SecureStat HQ as part of a broader global strategy – ensuring the solution continues to evolve in line with real operational needs while delivering immediate value today.
