Secureworks appoints Michael Aiello as Chief Technology Officer

Cybersecurity company Secureworks has recently confirmed that Michael Aiello will become its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
Set to play a key role in setting the company’s long term strategic vision to define the next horizon of cybersecurity, Aiello will be reporting directly to the company’s President and CEO, Wendy Thomas.
With over 20 years’ experience in the technology sector, during his career Aiello has been a driving force for security and data privacy initiatives. He joins Secureworks most recently from HUMAN Security, where he served as Chief Product Officer, leading product development and strategy and helping to double the company’s growth rate in 2021.
Prior to this, Aiello led Google Cloud’s security, privacy and data protection product areas and was also Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Goldman Sachs, leading security for the consumer and commercial bank.
