Rosehill protects cyclists and pedestrians with lane segregation products

With social distancing becoming the new normal and the UK government advising against the use of public transport while promoting ‘active travel’ to work, councils across the country are looking to rapidly expand their protected cycle lane networks.
Rosehill Highways and Rosehill Security offer a range of lane segregation products which can be installed quickly and with minimal disruption – a significant benefit on heavily trafficked roads. They are ideal for both temporary and permanent schemes and are sustainably manufactured in the UK from 100% recycled tyre rubber.
Where carriageway width is limited, Rosehill Highways’ Narrow Cycle Lane Defenders are the perfect solution at just 235mm wide. Rated highly in TRL trials for safety, visibility and ease of use, they comply with Cycling England and Sustrans guidelines for continuous and light segregation. On roads with higher speeds or wider carriageways, Rosehill Highways’ 500mm wide Lane Separators are recommended.
Both products are surface-mounted and incorporate drainage channels, a wide range of reflectivity options and can accommodate a variety of industry standard bollards.
Where protected segregation is required as quickly as possible, Rosehill Security’s Rapid Defender and Impakt Defender vehicle security barriers can be deployed in minutes and require no excavation or foundations. The modular systems can be situated practically anywhere and integrated with pedestrian/vehicle portals as required.
All Rosehill Security’s vehicle security barriers are made in the UK from 100% recycled tyre rubber, bonded with Rosehill’s unique polyurethane chemistry tailor made for challenging environments. Each Impakt Defender unit sustainably reuses 91 car tyres, with nine tyres going into each Rapid Defender unit.
