Reliance High-Tech named Security Installer of the Year at the Security & Fire Excellence Awards

Reliance High-Tech, the independent security technology integrator, is celebrating after winning the hotly contested Security Installer of the Year Award at the Security & Fire Excellence Awards 2020. Supported by IFSEC and FIREX, this year’s virtual event was hosted by Stephen Mulhern – presenter of ITV’s Catchphrase and Britain’s Got More Talent – with individuals from across the industry going online to recognise the achievements of their peers.

Now in their 21st year, the Security & Fire Excellence Awards celebrate the people, projects and processes that represent the best the industry has to offer. Award entries were judged by a panel of independent experts from all areas of the fire and security sector including end users, academics and the police. This year the organisers made a number of category tweaks to make the event even more company, people, team and project focused. These were all areas that the judges carefully considered when deciding who would receive the coveted Security Installer of the Year Award.

Reliance High-Tech’s entry highlighted its work with a number of blue-chip multinational organisations and how it deployed security and access control technology in new and innovative ways. Many of the projects it referenced were carried out at the height of the coronavirus pandemic, utilising device pre-configuration, as well as remote commissioning and testing, in order to allow work to be completed on time and to the highest standards.
