Prosegur’s cyber division, Cipher, has recently announced a strategic agreement with an Andorran security company to collaboratively develop the country’s first security operations centre (SOC).
Menta Grup will work in partnership with Cipher to help accelerate the scale and uptake of cybersecurity systems and measures in the Pyrenean country.
New SOC opens in Andorra
Cipher – who will integrate and maintain new technologies – will be responsible for implementing cyber-surveillance and intelligence services at the SOC.
The company will also ensure that users meet regulatory compliance.
Likewise, Menta Grup will be responsible for providing first level response and interaction-based services with users, providing 24/7 monitoring of threats and ensuring continuous protection and rapid response.
The new service will operate under the name ‘Menta Ciberseguridad by Cipher, a Prosegur Company’.
“Unlike competitors that offer static and commoditised services for companies and institutions looking to improve their cybersecurity position and visibility, we offer customers AI-driven cybersecurity solutions,” explained Jorge Gonzalez de Leon, Director, Cipher EMEA.
“Our xMDR platform allows them to anticipate detection and response and to focus on their business.”
“Strengthening cyber-resilience”
Jordi Moreno, Director of Institutional Relations, Menta Grup added: “The alliance with Prosegur will help us take our cybersecurity capabilities to a world class level and offer a comprehensive service to our clients in Andorra.
“We are excited about the opportunities that this agreement will bring, in addition to strengthening cyber-resilience in our country.”
The new SOC is expected to create a number of skilled jobs.
