Police Digital Security Centre launches at IFSEC 2019

IFSEC 2019 at London ExCel will see the launch of the Police Digital Security Centre.
The Police Digital Security Centre (PDSC) will launch with a simple mission – to reduce the vulnerability of organisations to cyber-crime. As part of Police Crime Prevention Initiatives (PCPI) and building on the success of the Secured by Design (SBD) brand, the PDSC is uniquely placed to deliver a truly joined-up and consistent approach to tackling cyber-crime.
Focused around five strategic priorities, the PDSC’s work will include an award-winning community outreach programme and the design and delivery of accredited training through the Police Crime Prevention Academy.
The PDSC has also collaborated with BSI (British Standards Institution) to combine their knowledge and expertise of information security to further support UK businesses. The partnership of these two established and trusted brands will see the development of a best practice framework for digital security.
The PDSC will launch at IFSEC on Tuesday 18 June at 10:30hrs at the PCPI/SBD stand, IF746a.
