Paxton has revealed that it has been recognised on The Sunday Times ‘Best Places to Work 2025,’ spotlighting companies where employees feel supported, valued and proud of where they work.

The awards

The awards, powered by WorkL, evaluate organisations using detailed employee feedback across six key areas; Reward and Recognition; Instilling Pride; Information Sharing; Empowerment; Wellbeing and Job Satisfaction.

Paxton says its inclusion is a strong endorsement of its commitment to create an engaging environment for the company’s employees.

“A real testament to the people”

Nicola O’Donnell, Chief People Officer, Paxton said: “Being named one of the ‘Best Places to Work’ is a real testament to the people who make Paxton what it is.

“Our aim has always been to create a workplace where people feel valued, listened to and genuinely enjoy coming to work each day.”

O’Donnell continued: “This recognition is based on their voices and that makes it incredibly meaningful.”

Employee survey highlights

As part of the assessment, anonymous feedback was gathered directly from employees. The company states that this year’s results revealed that:

  • 84% of Paxton employees reported having a good relationship with their manager
  • 82% said they feel treated with respect
  • 77% expressed pride in working for Paxton

These results highlight the strength of the company’s people-focused culture and the value employees place on their day-to-day experience, Paxton highlights.

Recognitions

Paxton states that it has a consistent track record of being recognised as a top employer.

The company was first featured in The Sunday Times ‘100 Best Companies to Work For’ in 2018, ranking 49th and returned to the list in 2019 and 2020.

In 2023, Paxton was ranked 22nd in the ‘Best Companies to Work For’ list and was named the #1 manufacturer to work for in the UK.

“Listen and evolve”

Nicola O’Donnell added: “While it’s always great to reflect on how far we’ve come, we’re focused on what comes next.

“We’re continuing to listen and evolve, making sure Paxton remains a place where people can do their best work, develop their careers and really feel part of something.”
