Paul Kellett to join IFPO UK & Ireland Advisory Board

IFPO (The International Foundation for Protection Officers) has announced that Paul Kellett DSM PC; MSc; CPOI; EMII-M; M.Sec.I.Iwill be joining its UK and Ireland Advisory Board.

A Peace Commissioner appointed by the Minister for Justice and Equality in Ireland, Paul is a highly skilled and qualified professional with over 32 years front-line uniformed service, including 15 years of strategic management experience in a leadership role. He also has 14 years military experience, during which he was awarded the Distinguished Service Medal (DSM) and the Spanish Cross of Naval Merit with White Distinction by the Spanish Ambassador to Ireland, on behalf of the King of Spain. He holds a MSc in Emergency Management from Dublin City University (DCU). 

As well as playing his full role with the Advisory Board, Paul will be working closely with fellow AB member Garry Bergin PC MSc FSyI F.ISRM CPOI M.Sec.I.I. in the development of IFPO and the promotion of its educational offerings on the island of Ireland.

• Current Secretary of ASIS Ireland (Chapter 216)

• Director, Board Member and Lecturer with the Security Institute of Ireland

• Board Member of the Emergency Management Institute of Ireland (EMII)

• IFPO Certified Protection Officer Instructor (CPOI)
