Fast-growing analytics and Business Intelligence (BI) software firm, Panintelligence has secured a global partnership deal to provide its software to a cyber security firm with offices in Sydney, London, Tokyo and the Philippines.

Huntsman Security, founded in Sydney, Australia is a cyber security specialist focused on supporting its customers’ cyber resilience. Huntsman’s software solutions are used worldwide in highly sensitive environments including government, national intelligence, border protection and critical infrastructure sectors.

Panintelligence has partnered with the Australian firm to develop a fully-featured Business Intelligence (BI) dashboard and reporting interface to enhance management reporting in their existing suite of globally-recognised cyber security products.

“Panintelligence has a long track record in secure data visualisation and a focus on gaining insights and providing really useful BI dashboards in real time. Working closely with them has enabled us to provide a unique set of new capabilities that allow non-technical senior leaders in client organisations early, secure access to key BI and data in a way that wasn’t previously possible,” said Piers Wilson, Head of Product Management at Huntsman Security.

“The availability of a BI-based dashboard within our security monitoring product suite allows the most relevant stakeholders to gain insights about their own security posture and threats immediately – this means better visibility and operational decision making,” he added.

The deal is the second international partnership in recent months for the Leeds-based software scale-up, following a win in the US retail software sector that has seen its BI and data analytics products deployed across thousands of American retailers to help with logistics and credit management.

“Huntsman is a worldwide leader in cyber security and to have been selected as its partner to develop WebView is a great endorsement of our own capabilities in providing BI and analytics insights to the global market, especially where security and data protection is a primary priority,” said Panintelligence CEO, Zandra Moore.

“Working with Huntsman to help develop WebView will enable their cyber security customers to get a highly advanced graphical display via multiple browsers and devices including mobile. Providing immediate insight and analysis into why specific cyber security incidents have been triggered allows their clients to act more rapidly and appropriately when action is needed,” she added.

Panintelligence’s background in the credit and financial services sector has seen its products lead in data security and compliance, a key factor in its recent success. The company’s ‘Pi’ software platform sits within clients’ own data environments, where it securely provides data visualisations to generate insights and predict outcomes, rather than moving data or copying it, making it inherently more secure than other methods of BI analysis.

Panintelligence Commercial Director, Sara Parker added: “The UK is still our primary sale market at present, but our products are also fully capable of being used across borders by global clients and, with the scarcity of some of our capabilities, we’re increasingly gaining a reputation as a specialist globally.”

The Leeds-based business recently announced the opening of a base in Boston, USA, to grow its presence in the market and to manage the increasing flow of US enquiries and contracts.
