PACOM has announced the release of its new cloud-based security and business management platform. The company claims it is intelligent, user-friendly and highly cost effective.
The new release combines access control, intrusion alarm, video verification, building management and centralised alarm monitoring all in one platform.
The platform extends its functionality beyond just being solely security, it also acts as an interface with the Internet of Things (IoT).
The combination of video and sensor data enables valuable business intelligence and operational insights, whilst also proving efficiency for customers by saving them time and money.
What does VIGIL CORE offer?
The scalability of SaaS provides a long-term solution for companies.
VIGIL CORE has expandability to meet the requirements of sites, whether that be business expansion or adding new devices to the security system.
The deployment of SaaS can lead to lower initial costs for hardware, software and infrastructure which leads to faster returns.
For the VAR community, the VIGIL CORE enables them to elevate their businesses by creating long standing relationships with their customers and protecting recurring monthly revenues.

Control using the VIGIL CORE
The company claims that the platform offers more than just security as it provides complete control over the entire building services ecosystem and can scale up and down as required.
It can provide existing users with opportunity to migrate to the solution quickly and easily through its upgrade path that can be implemented based on the client’s schedule.
The application is best suited for banking, finance, logistics, warehousing, commercial, cell towers, critical infrastructure and multi-site retail locations.
Cloud-based platforms
VIGIL CORE is fully cloud enabled and has a fully customisable dashboard that can be accessed via any internet connected desktop PC or smartphone.
Users can view live and playback video from cloud cameras, bookmark cameras for quick and easy access from the main dashboard.
The dashboard also allows users to check camera health status, set profiles and permissions, assign credentials, set rules, export footage clips and arm devices at anytime or anywhere.
The platform can also be set up as an only on-premise solution or even in a hybrid configuration.
