OPTEX to showcase intrusion detection solutions at Security Essen

OPTEX is set to present its broad range of advanced intrusion detection solutions at Security Essen 2024.
Security Essen is set to take place 17-20 September 2024 at Messe Essen.
Visitors will be able to attend the OPTEX booth in Hall 7, Stand 7F23.
EchoPoint and Fibre Defender
Within OPTEX’s fibre optic-based detectors are the EchoPoint and Fibre Defender series.
This range uses intelligent analytics to determine whether an attempted intrusion is taking place.
It can be installed with a variety of options, such as directly in the ground, on a fence to detect climbing and cutting or within a wall to detect drilling.
REDSCAN mini-Pro & FlipX detection
Also being showcased by OPTEX is the REDSCAN LiDAR range.
The sensors can be mounted horizontally to create virtual perimeters, protect narrow spaces and high value targets.
The new REDSCAN mini-Pro adds a new level of security intelligence.
It combines the precision and accuracy of LiDAR intrusion detection with a built-in infrared camera for visual verification in both indoor and outdoor high-security environments.
OPTEX’s range of internal FlipX detection sensors will also feature at the event. The FlipX sensor is suitable for commercial and residential sites.
The indoor sensor FlipX features a pyroelectric sensor that adapts to the human shape to provide accurate detection performance.
It features a lens that can rotate 180 degrees and is suitable for protecting both narrow and long spaces as well as wide, open areas meaning it has the power of two sensors in one device.
