From September 20-23, 2022, the international security industry will be guests at Messe Essen. Security Essen will become a platform for innovative products and knowledge exchange. On September 21, the BeNeLux Day will provide an opportunity to learn from each other. Security Essen, the German-Dutch Chamber of Commerce (DNHK) and the Dutch Cluster Security Delta (HSD) invite to the German-Dutch Security Forum. The following networking meeting will enable participants to intensify contacts.
Criminals do not stop at national borders. Advancing digitalisation also increases the risk of becoming a victim of cyberattacks. What can security experts from Germany and the Netherlands do to counter this? Can we learn from the experiences of our neighbours? To what extent do products and services from both countries complement each other? Where are the greatest market opportunities? This is exactly where the German-Dutch-Security-Forum comes in, providing answers and new input. Industry experts and entrepreneurs from Germany and the Netherlands will report on practical experience and discuss current trends with the audience.
The program in detail
The forum area in Hall 6/Stand 6B41 will be open to interested parties from 9:30 AM onwards. A short welcome at 10 AM will be followed by the joint keynote “Trends in the security market in Germany and the Netherlands – a comparison” by Wouter Goudswaard, Eye Security and Patrick Grihn, networker NRW. Afterwards, the audience will have the opportunity to ask questions before a cross-national panel discussion continues at 10:45 AM.
Dennis Ochmann, Weckbacher Sicherheitssysteme GmbH, Jan Martijn Broekhof, Guardian360, Bastiaan van Hamersveld, Edgeway and Dominic Schneider, Telenot, will exchange views on stage on the topic of “Networked security technology and cybersecurity in practice. Market trends, country-specific differences and business opportunities in neighbouring countries.” This will again be followed by a Q&A with the audience. From 11:30 AM, all participants are invited to the networking event in the Security Experts Meeting Area (Hall 6 / Booth 6E42) to make new contacts and expand existing ones. In the afternoon there will be enough time to discover the fair and its innovations.
