Motorola Solutions announces its celebration of 50 years of success in Singapore

Motorola Solutions has announced that it is celebrating 50 years of growth and success in Singapore.
The company began with just six employees in one office in 1973 and has now grown to be a well known provider of essential safety and security technologies.
Motorola notes that Singapore’s public safety agencies, critical infrastructure operators and enterprises depend on the company everyday.
“Positively impacted security”
Mr Tan Puay Kern, Vice Chairman of the National Crime Prevention Council commented: “From providing our emergency services with vital technologies, to helping protect vulnerable communities from cyber crime, Motorola Solutions and its employees have positively impacted security and prosperity for all Singaporeans.”
Commitment and volunteering
The company is recognised for its strong workforce culture, having been named on Singapore’s Best Employers list for its fourth consecutive year in 2024.
The organisation highlights that it has a commitment to corporate social responsibility that is reflected through its employee volunteering efforts with organisations including:
- National Crime Prevention Council
- Yellow Ribbon Singapore
- Plant A Tree Programme.
