BREAKING: Mitie Group makes major acquisition

Integrated security systems provider R H Irving has been acquired by Mitie Group.

This is yet another of the group’s major acquisitions in recent times, with Mitie Security having taken over the leading risk management consulting business, Linx International Group, in April.

Numerous sources have suggested that the R H Irving acquisition is valued at approximately £19m.

R H Irving Industrials (R H Irving) is trusted to deliver complex installation and service and maintenance of perimeter security systems for the utility, military, manufacturing and wider sectors.

Not only does the acquisition strengthen Mitie’s fire and security systems capabilities, R H Irving Industrials’ earthing services are also of strategic importance.
