Leidos announces partnership with university to drive AI and data science solutions

Leidos has announced its partnership with the University of Edinburgh in the UK to advance AI and data science solutions.
The partnership will make use of the university’s Bayes Centre, which is an innovation hub for data science and AI.
Leidos will use the Bayes Centre to address critical challenges in areas such as environmental, civil, healthcare and national security.

The partnership
Leidos says that the partnership highlights its commitment to building AI that delivers high-quality outcomes while scaling efficiently.
The company notes that by integrating the university’s research with its AI solutions, the collaboration will drive innovation, improve operational efficiency and deliver AI that meets the highest standards of trust and reliability.

The collaboration
The collaboration will also focus on generating a positive social impact that will allow Leidos to engage with the university’s 45,000 students.
The partnership will help attract new talent and drive innovation across the organisation through its internships and joint projects.
