Kepler Vision Technologies has announced a partnership with French integrated services provider TELEGRAFIK that will see its computer vision software look after the wellbeing of carehome residents a facility in L’Isle-d’Abeau, France.

Kepler Vision’s Night Nurse solution is a computer vision based body language detection system. By combining machine learning training and computer vision, Kepler Night Nurse is able to detect falls, patient discomfort and abnormal behaviour, notifying care staff so that they can respond immediately. This solution technology outperforms motion sensors, bed mats and wearable monitoring systems by a factor of 1,000 in cutting down on false alarms and the unnecessary strain they place on care staff.

TELEGRAFIK is the connected solutions platform for aging well. Built to protect the elderly and fragile people, to prevent loss of autonomy and to inform and coordinate professional caregiver in all care environments. It provides a unique platform for all connected solutions essential to Aging Well to manufacturers and integrators wishing to improve the lives of those in their care, including solutions for fall detection, innovative remote assistance with actimetry, connected beds, remote medical monitoring, remote consultation and remote expertise.

Dr Harro Stokman, CEO and Founder of Kepler Vision said: “We are very excited to be making the next step in international expansion with TELEGRAFIK. Its position as a market leader in integrating healthcare technologies makes it the perfect partner to expound the virtues of the Kepler Night Nurse solution – making it much easier for care homes and medical facilities to benefit from the advantages we offer in terms of patient care and staff workloads.”

Carole Zisa-Garat, CEO of TELEGRAFIK said: “Kepler Night Nurse is an excellent addition to our suite of available healthcare solutions and its use in the first facilities equipped will underline just how beneficial and easy to use the system is for care staff – particularly when working in tandem with the care facility’s established practices. We have been very impressed with the potential for Kepler Vision to improve the lives of both patients and staff in healthcare environments and look forward to working closely with them in both this ongoing deployment and to bring the solution to more facilities in future”
